On a group joining safari, the central questions are whether a departure is confirmed and what you are sharing. A shared vehicle does not necessarily mean a shared room, and the number of seats affects comfort. We provide the meeting location, expected vehicle occupancy, seat/window arrangements, overnight accommodation and what happens if a departure does not reach minimum numbers. Do not buy non-refundable travel before these details are confirmed.
Ten-day itinerary: where you travel and sleep
This is a sample route to help you decide whether the trip suits your dates. Accommodation names, transport sectors and park activity times are final only after availability is checked and the itinerary is confirmed in writing.
Day 1 — Arrive in Arusha and meet your group
Your pickup and hotel check-in are organised as written in your quotation. Meet the guide, hear the departure briefing and check room arrangements. If you arrive late, there is no scheduled safari game drive that day.
Overnight: Arusha.
Day 2 — Tarangire National Park
Set off together for Tarangire, where the group explores open woodland and the river environment. Your guide balances wildlife stops with the preferences of everyone in the vehicle. Sleep near the park or in the Karatu area.
Overnight: Tarangire / Karatu.
Day 3 — Lake Manyara
Drive into Lake Manyara for forest and lakeshore habitats, depending on park accessibility and your group’s plan. Flamingos and tree-climbing lions should be treated as possibilities, not guarantees. Overnight near Karatu.

Day 4 — Transfer to Serengeti
Travel through the highlands with road and entry stops. This is a long transfer; your first Serengeti game viewing is normally along the route to camp. Your guide will explain why the camp is in the chosen area.

Day 5 — Full Serengeti day
Enjoy wildlife viewing without relocating your bags to another camp. The guide may use a picnic lunch to spend longer in productive areas. The pace reflects the booked group, not an individual private programme.

Day 6 — Second full Serengeti day
Explore a different section where practical or stay with an interesting sighting. Herds may be present at some times of year; a crossing or a specific big-cat encounter cannot be promised.

Day 7 — Travel to Ngorongoro highlands
Drive out of Serengeti toward Ngorongoro with appropriate breaks. Expect most of the day to be spent in transit, even if wildlife appears along the way. Dinner and overnight at the group’s booked accommodation.
Overnight: Ngorongoro / Karatu.
Day 8 — Ngorongoro Crater
Begin the descent under current entry rules and enjoy the crater’s contrasting wildlife and scenery. After lunch, return toward Karatu. The guide will confirm the agreed time and meeting point for any shared onward vehicle.

Day 9 — Rift Valley experience or restful extra day
Use the extra day for a pre-booked cultural visit, local nature walk or extended rest near Karatu, depending on the group package. Any optional activity must be listed with its price before departure. This avoids squeezing two parks and a long road transfer into one last day.

Day 10 — Return to Arusha and onward transfer
Travel together to Arusha or the specified airport. We confirm arrival estimates and avoid unrealistic onward flight connections. For solo travellers, your room or tent arrangements and any single supplement remain exactly as written in the final booking.

That is how we work out the actual route instead of giving you an attractive itinerary that cannot be operated on your chosen dates. Where an internal flight, boat or permit is involved, we check availability before it appears as a confirmed inclusion.
We will give you a written quotation naming each overnight location, room or campsite category, the vehicle and guiding arrangements, meal plan, park fees, transfer sectors, optional activities and the payment and cancellation terms. Wildlife sightings are natural events and are not promised. If your flight arrival makes the first day too short, we will adjust the activities rather than sell you a full game drive you cannot enjoy.

Will I share a bedroom?
Sharing the 4×4 and guide does not automatically mean sharing a room. Ask for the accommodation type, twin or single basis, bathroom details and any single supplement before making payment.
Can I ask the guide to stay longer at a sighting?
You can discuss preferences, but the final schedule belongs to the group. If your interest is specialised photography or you want full control over the day, a private safari may be more suitable.
What should I send to request the right price?
